More About Marshall...

Marshall Logan Gibbs is a Baltimore-based playwright with plays produced by The Maryland Theatre Collective, Eclectic Full Contact Theatre, Truest Ethos Theatre Company, Bucknell University, The Community College of Baltimore County, and Dover Little Theater. Public readings and workshops have been held at the Valdez Theatre Conference, Baltimore Playwrights Festival, Lumos Players, Thirsty Thursdays with Theatre, Variations Project, and Baltimore Playwright's Brew. Critics have called their characters "relatable, human despite their flaws, and fully fleshed out" and their dialogue "110% believable."

As an arts educator, Marshall has worked for Everyman Theatre (Education and Engagement Program Manager) and Chesapeake Arts Center (Education Coordinator). They have taught playwriting, acting, and improv from ages 5-75 for the Jewish Community Center, Carver Center for the Arts, Drama Learning Center, and the Dance Conservatory of Maryland.

Marshall holds an AFA degree in Theatre/Performance from CCBC Catonsville with additional training at Hussian College Los Angeles. They are a genderfluid, queer, and neurodivergent artist, which guides the work they create. They are a proud member of the Dramatists Guild.
